2nd Annual Swim for Strength

In Memory of Chris Miller & In Honor of Coach Missy Turner

Please join us the evening of June 28th from 7:00PM to 11:00PM for the second Swim for Strength Swim-a-thon;

An evening of reflection, remembrance, and community.

We swim in memory of Chris Miller, whose life continues to remind us how vital mental health, compassion, and connection are. This event helps keep his spirit present among us while supporting causes that speak to the pool community’s values.

This year, we also swim in honor of Coach Missy Turner, whose strength and grace in the face of breast cancer inspires us every day.

More than a swim-a-thon, this is a chance to come together—whether in the water or on the sidelines—as a show of support, solidarity, and love. Proceeds from the event will benefit suicide awareness, Missy Turner’s medical expenses and breast cancer support.

Let’s swim with purpose. Let’s swim in community. Let’s swim for strength.

Once Registration is complete, you will be emailed a pledge sheet.

About Chris:

A quiet, thoughtful, and kind man, Chris had a sharp, dry sense of humor and a generous spirit. He was deeply loyal, and maintained lifelong connections with a number of friends who considered him family. Chris was a good man, a master of focus, meticulous, hard working, and filled with a passionate, deep caring. His absence is felt every day by his family and friends, and he will be profoundly missed forever.
